Breathe Ease - 60 minutes
Head & Sinus Massage for Allergies and Congestion
Service Description
This ancient Ayurvedic treatment, practiced in India for thousands of years, is known as Nasya. The session begins with a nurturing massage of the face, neck, and head using warm herbal oils to support lymphatic drainage and gently open the sinus pathways. Hot towels and a facial steam are then applied to further soften and open the nasal passages, preparing the body to receive the medicine of the oils. You will be offered a small bottle of organic Nasya oil, a traditional medicated oil used to cleanse and rejuvenate the sinuses. A few drops are gently placed into each nostril—don’t worry, it’s much more comfortable than it sounds. Most people find the experience refreshing, clarifying, and surprisingly soothing. Nasya is especially supportive for those experiencing sinus congestion or seasonal allergies, brain fog or headaches, jaw tension or neck stiffness, and emotional heaviness or mental fatigue. In Ayurveda, the nose is considered the doorway to the mind—the gateway to consciousness. Nasya helps clear this passage, restoring clarity, calm, and the smooth flow of energy throughout the body and mind. The Nasya oil is an additional $18. For ongoing or recurring treatments, this fee is waived when you bring your own oil.
