Welcome to Ahimsa Wellbeing. These Terms & Conditions are designed to create a safe, respectful, and supportive experience for everyone who receives treatments, attends workshops, trainings, retreats, circles, or uses this website. By booking an appointment, registering for an event, or purchasing a service, you agree to the following terms.
Appointments & Bookings
Appointments may be booked online, by email, or by phone.
A confirmation email will be sent once your booking has been received.
Please ensure that all information provided during booking is accurate and up to date.
Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Arriving late may reduce your treatment time so that other scheduled appointments are not affected. Full payment will still apply.
If this is your first visit, you may be asked to complete a health history form before your appointment.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled or refunded.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full treatment fee.
No-shows are non-refundable.
I understand that unexpected circumstances arise. If an emergency occurs, please reach out as soon as possible and I will always do my best to respond with kindness and fairness.
Late Arrivals
Late arrivals will receive the remaining appointment time where possible.
If there is insufficient time to safely provide the treatment, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the cancellation policy may apply.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

Pricing may change without notice.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift cards may be transferred to another recipient.
Lost or stolen gift cards cannot always be replaced.
Unless otherwise stated, gift cards expire according to Colorado law.
Treatment Disclaimer
Ayurvedic bodywork, Reiki, sound healing, and other holistic therapies are intended to support general wellbeing and relaxation.
They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
No claims are made regarding the diagnosis, cure, or treatment of any disease.
Clients are encouraged to seek appropriate medical care for any health concerns.
Health Information
Please inform me before your appointment if you:

have recently had surgery

have contagious illnesses

have skin infections

have serious medical conditions

have allergies to herbs or oils

have injuries that may affect treatment
Providing complete and accurate health information allows treatments to be adapted safely.
Contraindications
Some treatments may not be suitable during certain medical conditions.
Ahimsa Wellbeing reserves the right to modify or decline treatment where it may not be safe to proceed.
Pregnancy
Certain treatments may be modified during pregnancy.
Please inform me of your pregnancy when booking.
If you have a high-risk pregnancy or medical complications, written approval from your healthcare provider may be requested before treatment.
Postpartum Care
Postpartum support is intended to provide practical, emotional, and holistic wellbeing support.
It does not replace medical, nursing, lactation, or mental health care.
In the event of a medical emergency, clients should immediately contact emergency services or their healthcare provider.
Reiki, Energy Healing & Sound Healing
Energy-based therapies are complementary wellness practices.
Individual experiences vary.
No guarantees are made regarding specific physical, emotional, or spiritual outcomes.
Workshops, Trainings & Classes
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Spaces are limited and often reserved well in advance.
If Ahimsa Wellbeing cancels an event, participants will receive either:

a full refund
-
credit toward a future event
-
transfer to a new date
depending on the circumstances.
Workshops and trainings are non-refundable.
Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for deciding whether activities are appropriate for their own physical and emotional wellbeing.
Please communicate any injuries, health concerns, or accessibility needs before the event.
Participation is voluntary.
Reiki Training
Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the course requirements as outlined during training.
Certification does not constitute licensing to practice where professional licensing is required by law.
Students remain responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and national regulations.
Retreats
Retreat deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Specific cancellation policies for retreats will be provided with each individual retreat.
Travel expenses, accommodation, and transportation remain the responsibility of the participant unless explicitly included.
Photography
Occasionally photographs may be taken during workshops or community events.
These may be used for educational or promotional purposes.
Participants who prefer not to appear in photographs are encouraged to let me know before the event.
Private treatment sessions will never be photographed without explicit written permission.
Confidentiality
All personal information shared during treatments, consultations, workshops, or trainings will be treated with respect and confidentiality, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of serious harm.
Respectful Behaviour
Ahimsa Wellbeing is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment.
Disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Services may be refused without refund where necessary to maintain the safety and wellbeing of others.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, manuals, handouts, website content, photographs, logos, and written resources remain the intellectual property of Ahimsa Wellbeing unless otherwise stated.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or taught without prior written permission.
