About the event
Reiki Chanting, Drumming workshop in Fort Collins
Discover the ancient vibrational heart of Reiki through the Usui Reiki Kotodama — the sacred sounds known as “words carrying spirit.”
In this experiential workshop, we explore how sound, intention, and breath weave together to awaken deeper currents of healing, intuition, and inner clarity.
The kotodama have been used for centuries within Shinto and Buddhist traditions, and were incorporated into the early Japanese teachings of Reiki as a way to differentiate, awaken, and attune to the distinct vibrations of each Reiki energy. These sounds are not simply chants - they are living frequencies that move through the body, clear stagnation, elevate consciousness, and open the energetic pathways through which Reiki flows.
