Wellbeing, The Ahimsa way...
It lives in the way we hold space for healing, nurturing balance, and honoring the sacred connection between mind, body, and spirit.
At Ahimsa Wellbeing, I believe healing flourishes when we are met with compassion, presence, and gentle support.
Inspired by the ancient Sanskrit principle of Ahimsa - non-harming, compassion, and kindness toward all living beings - my work is rooted in caring for the whole person with warmth, respect, and intention.
I believe wellbeing begins simply by slowing down enough to listen to what the body, mind, and heart are asking for.
My practice is especially centered around caring for women through the many seasons of life - offering a place to rest, receive, reconnect, and be genuinely cared for.

Meet Emma
My path into holistic healing began with Reiki and eventually led me to Ayurveda in India and Thai Massage in Thailand. But over the years, I’ve learned that the most important part of this work is how one holds space.
I naturally create spaces that feel warm, safe, peaceful, and nurturing. After experiencing the challenges of postpartum myself, I developed an even deeper understanding of how important it is for women to feel seen, supported, and cared for.
Today, it is a gift to offer that space to other women, a place to soften, exhale, and reconnect with themselves.
.............................................. I was born and raised in Surrey, England, and from a young age I felt drawn to the mysteries of life and to understanding what lies beneath the surface of things. My own life experiences eventually became part of that exploration, leading me into a deeper journey of healing, self-discovery, and spiritual practice. At 17, I received my first Reiki training, never imagining where that small beginning would lead. Over the following decades, I continued to study and travel, eventually journeying to the Nilgiri Mountains of India to study Ayurveda and to Thailand to train in Thai Massage. Along the way, I also immersed myself in yoga, sound, drumming, meditation, herbs, and traditional healing practices. Becoming a mother changed me in ways no training could have prepared me for. After experiencing intense postpartum challenges following the births of my daughters, I came to understand the importance of being truly supported during the transitions of motherhood - not just physically, but emotionally and energetically too. Those experiences continue to shape my work today. Rather than following a fixed formula, I draw from everything I've learned and allow each woman and each session to guide what is needed. I believe healing begins with somewhere you feel safe enough to put everything down and to feel safe enough to release and open to receive. That is the kind of space I have created at Ahimsa - and the kind of space I hope you feel when you walk through the door.

Care for Women through every season of life
Postpartum care, Ayurvedic therapies, restorative bodywork, and holistic healing offered with warmth, compassion, and presence.
Ahimsa is a place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and receive care that honors the whole person - body, mind, and spirit.
When you arrive for a treatment or session with Emma, the space is yours and yours alone to receive whatever you need to receive. There is nowhere else you need to be and nothing you need to perform. We simply settle into the rhythm of the moment - whether quiet and restorative, deeply nurturing, or light and playful.
Your session may include Ayurvedic bodywork, warm infused oils, Abhyanga, Shirodhara, herbal therapies, Reiki, drumming, sound, meditation, or simply quiet restorative space.
Sometimes what you need is deeply therapeutic. Sometimes it's simply to be still and receive.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach, just thoughtful, intuitive care designed around you.

Honoring the seasons of womanhood
Women move through so many seasons - becoming mothers, navigating change, finding their footing again, and discovering new versions of themselves along the way.
Ahimsa offers a place to pause and receive care through those transitions, from pregnancy and postpartum to motherhood, midlife, and beyond.
Wherever you find yourself, you are welcome here.
